Designed for all helmet wearing sports. Our Sport ID Helmet Tag provides first responders & paramedics with your lifesaving medical / allergy and emergency contact information in the event you are involved in an accident or suffer a medical emergency. Designed for cyclists, snowboarders & skiers. If you wear a helmet in your sport, our ID system could save your life!
The system is unique as it is designed to be attached to the outside of the helmet. This unique feature enables paramedics to easily access the wearers ID without the need to move the patient or remove their helmet (important to reduce the potential for neck & spinal trauma!)

Essential Features of Sport ID Helmet Tag:
Non-removal of the helmet is an important feature of the system and is vital in reducing the potential for further neck & spinal trauma. Eliminating the need to manipulate the rider to access their ID. Other solutions such as carrying ID in a rear pocket or neck worn dog-tag cannot eliminate this risk as the patient will often need to be fully manipulated to access their ID.

I.C.E. – IN CASE OF EMERGENCY : The I.C.E. designation featured on the Sport ID helmet tag is an internationally recognized acronym that enables paramedics to quickly identify the ID system and retrieve the wearers ID. Originally the ICE designation was used to identify emergency numbers stored on a cell phone, the designation is recognized by paramedics & medical personnel worldwide and is being more widely used and incorporated into a number of safety products.

It is a small space to write info. on, but I like that incase of an emergency all of your important info. is listed for the emergency people have what they need to treat you. I also shared this info. about the Sport ID with our Motorcycle club. They were very interested.

I purchased the Vital ID tags for my two motorcycle helmets to insure that in the event of an accident while riding, the paramedics would have the necessary information to treat me without delay. I am deathly allergic to aspirin and always fear that in the event of a heart attack, responders might give me aspirin without knowing. The Vital ID insures this will not happen. The tags were easily secured to the helmet and the extra reflective strips were just an added bonus. Thanks
